Childrens play area - A well equipped, weather protected childrens play area with is currently being constructed in a fenced off area near within view of the swimming pool.

Traditional Massage Sala, Herbal Sauna & Gymnasium - are currently being designed and will be in place by October 1999.

Krua Maekok Thai Cooking School - The school is established in a fully tiled 64 sq. metre half walled SALA in the same grounds as the Maekok River Villas. There are 12 custom designed and fully equipped stainless steel cooking stations, one for each student.

The Chef / Instructor's station is ringed by high chairs from which students watch demonstrations of the preparation and cooking of each particular dish before repeating the process from start to finish in their own cooking stations. A full course take 6 days (every Monday to Saturday) but casual students may join the course for any half day of full day modules should they so wish.

The Field Study Facility - is designed to cater to student groups that wish to combine field research projects (environmentak, social or other - we have our own archives of researched data) with leisure time spent on soft adventure activities such as trekking, mountain biking, river barge tours ect.

The Centre provides customised itineraries to suit the needs of our client institutions, be they schools, government or non government organisations, corporations or simply groups of individuals with a common interest.

A two story building housing up to 50 students (can be increased to 100 by using bunk beds) expanded in barrack room style accommodation on the ground (a total of 200 sq. metres subdivided into 1 to 3 sleeping areas as per client request). A block of 10 individual toilets and showers are located on the ground floor.

The second floor houses a meeting room, TV and recreation room/dining area and laboratory.

The Traditional Farm - 8 acres of land surrounding the property cultivated by hand using traditional integrated organic farming methods to produce rice, fruit and vegetables for the work force, the guests and to support the local hospital and other community related projects.

The Rural Museum - A collection of tradition of farm buildings consisting of a houses, a rice mill, a rice barn and other lesser buildings operating as a living museum and the focal point of the farm. Both the museum and the farm will operate exactly as they would have done before the introduction of the petrol engine or electricity. 50% of proceeds from entry fees to the farm and museum project will be channeled back into projects that finance training selected needy members the village community to learn or relearn to produce traditional handicrafts as a primary or secondary means of making a living.

Tour Options - Track of the Tiger Tours provides a wide range of excursion and packaged tour programmes for the Maekok River Village Resort.
