| Once
a traditional fishing village, Bang Bao is both a fascinating place to
get an insight into the island's fishing community and a fun place to
explore local shops and seafood restaurants. The buildings are raised
above the water on wooden stilts and many of the local fishing vessels
are anchored nearby.
