Transportation
By air , flying time between Bangkok and Krabi is approximately 70 minutes.
By land , departing from either Bangkok or Phuket, the drive is on nice roads.

From Bangkok , there is a double-lane highway all the way to Suratthani, which usually takes between eight and ten hours. From Phuket, the trip takes about two and a half hours, passing through some mountain scenery, hills, mangrove forests and more than 30 islands off the coast.
