Itinerary

Fly to Chiang Rai International Airport,
just over a one hour flight from Bangkok. Meet and be greeted
by our tour guide who will escort you to the DUSIT ISLAND RESORT.
Your guest room will have a magnificent view of the city or
river and the in-room amenities include marble bathroom, TV,
safety box, minibar, IDD phone and hairdryer. You may wish to
have a light lunch at the lofty ISLAND CAFE, the hotel's coffee
shop, before exploring all your hotel has to offer. In the evening
you can clelbrate your arrival by trying Chinese specilities
at the hotel's CHINATOWN RESTAURANT. |

2 : |
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning
you get to play one of Thailand's finest course - Santiburi
Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1992. This mature
course features a wide range of sloping lies and long but wide
fairways withnatural hazards, at holes 2, 3 and 4, you have
to play alongside a hug lake. Most greens are protected by bunkers
and there are several good dog-leg holes, particularly the par-five
18th, where you have to negotiate water on the left side from
the tee short and again on the right side of the fairway on
the approach short. However, four different tees offer every
level of golfer a fair chance. The clubhouse has excellent facilities.

3 : |
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a break
from the greens for a full-day tour the Golden Triangle - The
"Must See" for every visitor. The excursion includes a boat
trip, visit to the hilltribe villages and view across the Golden
Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge.
back at the hotel. Dinner. You may wish to dine at the Peak
steakhouse, offering fine food and panoramic views. |
Day
4 :

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning
you'll play the Waterford Valley GC, Chiang Rai's second largest
course at nearly 7,000 yards playing from the back trees. There
are four sets of tees at this 18-hole layout, set on a plateau
surrounded by high mountains, where player can be forgiven if
they are distracted by the spectacular mountain scenery. Numerous
water hazards make this a tough but manageable challenge. The
service in the clubhouse is very friendly. Overnight at Dusit

5 : |
Breakfast at hotel. Take a break from the greens
and relax by the pool, work out in the fitness centre, unwind
in the sauna, Jacuzzi or steam room, or even better, pamper
yourself with a traditional Thai message. If you are a bargain
hunter, the hotel's shuttle will take you to the local style
night market. You may prefer to stay at the hotel swap golf
stories at the Lobby Lounge or the Lively Cellar Pub. Overnight

| Day 6 : |
Breakfast at the hotel. Golf at Santiburi which
is such a welcoming course, you can safely play it twice and
improve your score! For your last evening in Chiang Rai you
could visit your favourite restaurant for a farewell dinner

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Chiang Rai Airport
for your departure flight. |
